DAY 4:

Lent challenge not going toooo speedily right now since i’m still waiting for photoshop to arrive. Taken a couple of shots mainly for the sake of getting some editing practice, just waiting for my post to come before i can do anything with them.

So the topshop eyeliner wasn’t as easy to use as i’d hoped, but seems to stay on well and looks pretty good. i loveee the nail varnish.

TOPSHOP HAUL:

Having discovered that i actually had more of my student loan left than i thought i did, i decided the sensible thing to do was go to topshop. Bought my first pair of hoop earrings (i’ve always thought they didn’t suit me but i liked these ones), an earcuff (i’ve wanted one for ages), some fab limited edition nail varnish in ‘zodiac’, and a liquid eyeliner pen in black. Will test out the makeup later.

DAY 1:

Splashed out on photoshop and i’m now excitedly awaiting its arrival! I used to have a trial version on the old home computer but haven’t used it in years so probably will have to teach myself how to use it all over again.
Now i need to get familiar with all the intricacies of my camera again. I might post some of my old photography later - not because i’m massively proud of it (it wasn’t amazing), but it’d be a nice starting point to make progress from.

MY LENT CHALLENGE

I decided that rather than giving something up for lent, i’d start something new, so i’m making it my Lent challenge to get back into photography and keep this blog updated with my progress. I’ve found that ever since A-Levels and coming to university i’ve been lacking in any kind of creativity and have been leading a frankly quite boring lifestyle. It’s about time I did something about it! I’ll keep you lot updated.
